Jackets for the Children in Bát Xát/Lào Cai January 18th, 2022

Here are some new pictures from Điện Biên & Lào Cai.  The 1047 jackets that we sent to Điện Biên have arrived but final distributions will have to wait a little while because they need to be subdivided into smaller packages for the children in remote villages.

The subsequent pictures are from the Pờ Xí Ngài, Bản Xèo Village in Bát Xát, Lào Cai, one of the poorest districts in VN which we have visited years ago. You will see pictures of food supplies there too, but these are obtained from donations elsewhere and not our contributions. With Tết holidays a couple of weeks away, volunteers in VN are making effort to do as much as they can before transportation shuts down and they themselves have to focus on their own families' preparations for the lunar new year.
