Covid Relief in Hà Giang

Thanks to your recent contributions, HopeToday ND Mission was able to bring needed warm jackets to the children in the mountains of Lao Cai.

Here are the pictures and video clips from the operations. Many thanks to the volunteer, Nguyễn Phương Thúy, and local security officials who made this possible. Out of the 1000 jackets we had sent only 100 were distributed and it already took a long day. To reach populations with the most need, one would have to travel long and difficult routes to remote locations.  The remaining jackets will be distributed to the poorest children in three districts. Ms. Thuy estimated that it would take until next week for her to finish this work.

The children in those pictures yesterday were from four kindergarten classes in Nậm Chảy Commune (Mường Khương District):

Ms. Thuý has made plans to go to two hamlets Chats 1 & 2 on top of the mountains in Bảo Thắng District today. Again, we will update you when we have more news.
