Food for Poor Families in Vinh An, An Giang January 29th, 2022

Foods for poor families & clean water for all:

Our friend in Vĩnh An, An Giang, Mr Võ Văn Sớt just completed the distribution of food supplies to 100 poor families in the local area. These are the remainder of the 2 tons of rice that we bought a couple of months ago. At that time, only 1 ton were distributed to the people affected by the Covid quarantine. This time around, since there are no people left under quarantine, the volunteers supplemented the rice with noodles and other food items before handing them to poor families.

Mr Ba Sớt also sent 3 pictures of the water filtration system that we helped installed nearby 2 years ago. Unlike the other dozens of places we have installed these osmosis filtering systems, the volunteers in Vĩnh An provided clean water to all in the local community for free, electing to bear the cost of maintenance or electricity themselves.
